It sounds like the issue may be with your brakes on your 2011 Keystone Outback 295-RE. With the brakes jerking it is most likely an issue with a drum or multiple drums being out of round. Yes, you will definitely need the PWM Filter # VGR64VR to properly power your Furrion Vision S RV Camera System # FOS43TASF. In 2020 GM switched to PWM wiring so your 2023 will send a constant 12 volts to the camera, which typically leads to a lot of connectivity issues.

Furrion Vision S RV Camera Systems like the # FOS43TASF have a 492' range so the length of your trailer isn't to blame here. Most likely the unit is getting enough power to turn on and sometimes pair and then loses the signal as the voltage drops. The solution to this is to pull the camera back off of the trailer and splice in the PWM Wiring Adapter # VGR64VR behind it so that it gets a steady 12 volts in order to properly operate.
